VLC in a minature player mode?

Hello,

Is there a setting, extension or widget that can get VLC 2.0.4. into a "mini player" mode so I can surf while I watch media out of a small window on my screen? I'm currently on Windows 7 Ultimate with all updates. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use Ctrl+H, video on top and resize
