libaacs.dll for blu-ray

Hi to all!
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, I downloaded libaacs.dll for 64 bit from here:
http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/
but, when I play blu-ray, it says it can find it; so, I tried with the 32 bit version, and it works.
Just wondering why the 64 bit version doesn't work.

Or do I need VLC 64 bit?

I cant get Blueray to work either. Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64bit, Phenom II X6 1090T, ASUS MB, AMD Chipset, 8GB DDR3, Radeon HD 4650 4GB, HDMI out to Onkyo AVR to 46" Samsung LED HDMI in, VLC Player 2.0.4, latest AMD/ATI drivers. VLC update cured some of my playback problems with .mkv files. Other than the BD playback, everything seems okay.

For my direct experience, not all blu-ray can be played with VLC, I think it depends on their "kind" of protection.
If you can't play just any blu-ray, maybe you haven''t put the files from the site I linked in the right position. (???)

Good analysis.
