Is 2.1.0 the next version?

Postby dazzaa » 21 Oct 2012 12:12

it plays dreambox streams out of sync from the start and has done for 6mnths or so :( it's only a little but occurs 100% of the time.
i've uploaded files before. play any of them and you should have the same problem.
Audio also randomly disappears until a new stream is played or stream is restarted
and playlist font doesnt increase/decrease
These are problems that make 2.1.0 unusable for me.
2.0.4 is great tho :)

2.1.0 is the next major version, indeed...

You need to file bugreports. Else, it won't be fixed and the release will be broken...

yes, i think you are right.
Done some tests in preparation for a few bug reports.
I think the root of my problem lies in the src resampler, using any sinc function results in losing the audio at some point. currently switched to zero order hold and audio has not dropped out yet. AV sync is 100%, vlc cpu usage using yadif x2, directx, no gpu is down to 0-1% from 5-6%
installed latest x64 22-10
bah.. spoke too soon. It lasted a lot longer but eventually the audio went awol. disabling the audiotrack when it happens and restarting brings it back the audio, but oos
will post logs tomorrow
