Hello all, I joined up here to ask some VLC questions that directly pertain to my odd problem.
Let me note first that this does NOT occur on PowerDVD whatsoever, however PowerDVD does not support MKV files like VLC does.
Now then, I want to take a screenshot bigger then 592x432, however, I go into full screen mode, pause at the frame I want to screenshot, and hit print screen, normally this works, however, now, strangely, the image is fixed to where ever VLC is placed on my screen in both paint, Paint.Net, and GIMP 2, I cannot resize the image, move the image, nothing. I even tested for newest editions of VLC, couldn't find any or none are ready for downloading. It used to work just fine, but now, even if I take the screenshot using print screen, then close VLC, I just get a black screen.
HOWEVER
Using the snapshop command in VLC only brings back the 592x432 screenshot even when in full screen mode. I tried resetting the snapshot width and hight to my screen resolution, but nothing happened at all, it just takes the snapshot at 592x432. It is too small for my personal needs and I want at the most 1280x800 or at the very least a snapshot of 1024x768.
Is there a step by step list that I can follow to properly set my VLC to take the desired screenshot size ?
EDIT: I am using VLC 2.0.2 at the time of this problem
