VLC Recording DirecTV stream (Alitronika)

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone with experience in recording a DirecTV stream. We need to capture a native encrypted stream for development purposes.
While looking around for suitable hardware to capture the stream we ended up with a Alitronika AT660 model, but their support department pointed out that their software didn't support the DirecTV DSS streams, from a hardware perspective this should be fine. So they kindly pointed out that we would need to either develop our own application or we could try "something" with VLC and TSReader.

Any comment, help would be greatly appreciated.

Strange what is common between hardware and streaming? Its crazy! I know working shareware program for encrypted stream.
