Creating a Mosaic on Win 7 with 2.0.2

Postby Shaunie1975 » 06 Jul 2012 09:21

Hi Guys n Gals.

I was hoping someone could provide me with or point in the direection of a guide on how to setup a mosaic using VLC 2.0.2 on win7

I need to be able to view around 8-10 streams in one instance of VLC. Currently I have to have 8-10 instances of VLC open each with a stream displayed.
I am not bothered about streaiming this out on to a network. This is purely so I can monitor various important TV channels an a yacht and then if they go off I can see and get it back asap for guests.

If possible I would also like to place an image behind each input stream so that when that stream does go off I know which one it is. I have a background.png file ready.
All other related items I have read on this seem to relate to linux.

Thanks In Advance for any help

Something like the below would be perfect:
