Hello, I have two computers (one gaming desktop and a laptop) with this problem.
The same BSOD always come in full screen mode when I am watching Free ADSL TV : IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE on VLC 2.0.1.
When I am entering in full screen mode, 5 minutes after, I always get this BSOD.

Without full screen mode, I have no problem and I can watch TV during hour and hour... Strange.

DUMP here :
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7F1C0)
Bugcheck code: 0x4A (0x7782138A, 0x2, 0x0, 0xFFFFF8800B4A4CA0)
Error: IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a thread is returning to user mode from a system call when its IRQL is still above PASSIVE_LEVEL.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.

All drivers are up to date. No codec pack are installed. Just ffdshow, Reclock and CoreAVC for my MPC-HC config.
No RAM errors on Memtest after 48-72 hours of Memtest.

VLC is just a secondary player, for the Freebox TV. Do you have any idea about my problem ?

Config :
1st Computer :
Intel Core i5 750 @ 3.33 Ghz
Corsair XMS3 4x4 GB @ 2000 MHz (DDR3 PC16000 CL9) XMP Profile activated
Asus P7P55D-EVO (latest BIOS)
PSU Enermax Modu 87 + 700W
Asus Direct CU II TOP Radeon 7970 (CCC 12.6)
System disk : 128 GB Crucial M4 and another 128GB Crucial M4 for gaming (firmware 000F / both SSD)
Storage : 3x2 TB WD Caviar Green
Windows 7 x64 SP1 (fresh install)
AV : BitDefender IE 2012

2nd Computer (laptop) :

Intel HD Graphics
Kingston HyperX PnP DDR3 8GB

Thank you for your answers,

Best Regards,
Kaiwen.

Although you have the latest drivers it does sound like driver issue.
If you have a support page for Free ADSL TV I would recommend you send them an error report.

Don' do that. It is not their fault that Windows/device drivers have issues.

One option you can try is another video output module

I tried ADSLtv, an app to watch TV via VLC and I don't have the problem with this freeware...

As much as this is an old thread, I'm also getting this error lately..
Everything that we got in common, with the OP, is BitDefender and W7 x64.
Although I'm using Bitdefender TS 2013..

Is it possible that this is the cause of the 0x4a crashes?

Maybe. Antivirii do tend to install system services.
