Brightness

Hi to all!
I'm using VLC 2.0.1 on Windows XP SP3; just since I've updated to VLC 2, the brightness of the video is "high": it's as in the previous version of VLC, when a second instance of VLC was launched, the second video was "brighter". Btw, I've never understood this behaviour.
I was having a look at the settings, but I couldn't find the "right option". :-|
Could anyone tell me what option should I look for to set brightness?
Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Hi
Look in...
Tools > Effects & Filters > Video Effects > Image Adjust

Sorry if I resume this topic.
However, I've just discovered that the fact that a video is "brighter" when launched in a second VLC instance depends on the option: Video -> Output modules -> DirectX -> Use hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.
If I untick it, the video is "normal", not brighter anymore.

This is the usual nVidia issue.

LOL My graphic card is ATI. :D
However, I've read about that problem with nVidia.
