CPU acceleration option location?

Postby Chrisi22 » 10 Jun 2012 03:28

In VLC preferences, Advanced >CPU, wasn't there a "use CPU acceleration" option (if system supported)? There is no option on that VLC pref page anymore, but I could swear I used to check use it (or was already), as I have a quad processor. That pref page is now blank except for text, "You can choose to disable some CPU accelerations here." I reset VLC prefs to default, just to make sure, but it's still blank. (BTW, VLC had problems playing 1920 x 1080 before I reset prefs to default).

How do you reset accelerations if there are no options?

Thanks

Confirmed.
You should create a ticket on the VLC Trac with the link of this thread.
