snapshots

I have installed actual version of VLC and I can't take a snapshots. I have an error "streaming/transcoding failed, VLC can't open encoder"
Snapshot format "jpg" doesn't work on VLC 2.0.1. Use "png".
Tool -> Preferences -> Video -> Video snapshots -> Format
