Deinterlace options not saved

Preferences -> Show All -> Video
- Deinterlace
- Deinterlace mode

I'm using Automatic and Yadif (2x) in preferences, saved, exit VLC, but everytime I start VLC with a file, these 2 options are set to "on", "Yadif" in menu. When I change it in menu or/and in preferences, it's changed back to "on", "Yadif".

Is it a bug? How to save these two options? I have to change them manually every time I start a new file.

Does it work correctly if you edit %appdata%\vlc\vlcrc with text edtor?

OK, thanks, so I found two items:

The second one is the one I couldn't change, so I changed it and it's OK now.

I found also this:

# Deinterlace (integer) #deinterlace=0

It's 0 so it should be disabled, but it's enabled in menu option.

I found also:

So which one should I change to change the context menu item from "on" to "auto"?

You have to remove # from options if you want to use them.

Thanks, but I still don't know how to change this option:

context menu > video > deinterlace > "automatic"

Which option should I change? I tried to use "-1" for several lines, I have deleted # char, while VLC was not running, of course, but the option above is still set to "on" instead of "auto".

Finally I found it. To change the following option:

context menu > video > deinterlace > from "on" to "automatic"
