I have also encountered the pixelated (or actually blurred) video.

On my Windows 7 PC VLC 2.0.1 works fine but with my old Compaq Presario X1005 laptop running XP and having Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics all video formats are blurred. The sound is OK. After reverting back to VLC 1.1.11 everything works fine.

I tried VLC 2.0.2 Twoflower but it did not help. Now all video files show a picture with small black and white squares like checkboard. The log file of a very short video is as follows:

if recorded translation with .ts(conteiner) by the red button, no picture only sound, another format example mpg asf - normal.
Strange MPC with k-lite codecs shows correct.

I also wish to report problems with VLC 2.0.1. I have backed off to 1.1.11.
My systems are Windows XP.
Problems are pixelated video (frequently); video stops when moving slider or when running in full-screen and hover over controls to activate them; video stops/jerks at times.
I have not adjusted video settings. No problems with 1.1.11, even playing same video on same system.
Thanks for all the work you are doing. From what I see in the forums, there are lots of similar problems with 2.0.

yeah i have too the same problem... i was playing MOV files and cant play well.. it all started in 2.0 version.

For the meantime, we can use 1.1.11 version or use other player as well.
