When you say "now I know" do you mean that you are having this scenario too?

I have had some conversations with Remi and J-B who sort of suggest that the way it works today is by design. There appears to be 2 main issues, that is:
1) The timing appears to be 16ms
2) the playout maybe PCM and not uLaw although I cant confirm this.

There is suggestions that this might be a new feature request, either way it would be a real benefit to VLC if they implemented it. I have seen numerous requests but is this enough for motivation for the developers?
