It seems like version 0.9.8a will open the opposite monitor in fullscreen automatically
Disable overlay video output or make you you don't have video mirroring (NVIDIA) or theater mode (ATI) in use.

Thanks, disabling Overlay Video Output worked for me.

Although, strangely, I cannot now run full screen on the other display unless I enable it again - LOL

Will try one of the nightlies.

move the window the video is in to the external monitor, then open the video now fullscreen works
