Yes. and same for 0.9.9.

This is a avcodec bug.

In VLC 1.0.0-pre1 the default hotkey "E" stops the playback instead of doing frame by frame.
This was working fine in previous builds before pre1.

Works fine here on Windows Seven and a mkv

Finally!
I think I have tested the different 1.0.0 the last couple of months, and from the 10th April nightbuild the rtsp streams are "beginning" to work.
Absolutely perfect with e.g. rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=620 (you need a French 'Freebox' subscription to have a chance to check out).
This one perfect too:
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=306 (here too Freebox subscription and on top of than special TVEi subscription).

With this link :
rtsp://streamer-01.dr.nordija.dk/dr2high
I have a reasonable quality, but it seems not as good as with 0.9.8a. More freezes, and rather than "freezes" as I know them they are "glimsing" - images 'jumping'.

Now with an almost similar link I have no video window showing at all and the stream is "closing" by itself within 10 seconds after opening the link.
This link is: rtsp://streamer-01.dr.nordija.dk/dr1high

In the link that works with some freezes I remark that VLC shows a "Buffering %" in the lower right corner of the VLC window. The buffering % is growing and within seconds the video window appears. With the link not working I don't have that buffer-corner showing.

Congratulations, you must be close to a final release of Goldeneye.

There is an important regression with the playback of some H264 files with trunk-20090417-2225. The playback is stuttering a lot with many frame drops.
These files were playing fine with the previous version I was using: trunk-20090401-2206.

This is a major regression that should be reverted back as soon as possible.

I am wondering when the Closed Captioning (not the Subtitles)

related to this forum

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=57338&p=193232&hili ... on#p193232

has this been included in the 1.0.0 version? I would like to know where that have been gone into what build. Is it going to be in the works ? How can i configure if it has been released with the built 1.0.0
