Videos are all messed up

Postby Slapdown » 13 Dec 2006 00:45

When I try to watch a video on VLC, instead of showing the video, it shows this:

Is there something I have to change in the settings?

Windows 9x/ME/2K?

Try to set it specifically to use the DirectX output module. Failing that, you might try the OpenGL one. You'll have to check the advanced settings box in prefs to get the option.

Make sure your DirectX installation is up to date as well as your video card drivers as well.

Preferences -> Video -> Output modules from the pull down select the module then press Save and close the player.
