Skins 2 doesn't work properly

If I am watching a video and go to
Settings > Switch Interface > Skins 2

the skin won't load up properly, this is what happens:

the video plays in the foreground window, and not in the skinned player


Also, I have a very high end PC, are there any tweaks I should apply to get better performance/video quality? What should the video output module be?

The skin does load properly, only the video window is not "reparented" to the skin interface. This is a technical problem, that we already tried to solve without any success.
A workaround is to stop the video and start it again.

Or not allow the interface to be switched when a video is in play mode
