Audio sync..

Postby Xinos » 06 Oct 2005 18:28

Is there a way to resync audio when the video and audio don't match. In some video files the audio is like a second behind or ahead, and that's really anoying. Can you like press a button to make the audio jump ahead or back a few milliseconds, or something like that?

I too would very much like to know how to do this, if it's possible. Can someone at least tell us whether it's currently possible?

I hate to say this but bad rips generally put the audio in front of the video between .5 and .7 seconds depending on the miss use of the tools. But you would think people would realize this along the way unless everything has been automated. :P Some players don't enforce sync, like MPlayer so I guess it could be missed.

It's ctrl k audio delay up and ctrl l audio delay down. In full screen mode you will see the delay flash on screen when it's applied. Considering how far it's out don't expect perfect lipsync.
