00000281 - rc interface

I compiled VLC using cygwin under winxp.. but when i try to run the exe it gives the following message

the directory where you installed VLC and run "vlc -I wx"

But from command line when I run "vlc -I wx" , then also i am getting the same message again

can any one please help me to overcome this error

can you run vlc -vvv --list and see if there are errors about libwxwidgets_plugin.so ?

wx interface was not compiled

u mean i want to compile the wx interface under cygwin ?
