Controlling the mozilla plugin?

I checked the faq pages, but I couldnt find anything. How do you control the video (pause play stop) for the mozilla plugin?

currently we use the plugin for a video terminal installation - works fine so far... (we are still using the old API but hopefully we will upgrade to the new soon to solve some problems we have)
