Postby Koofy » 04 Oct 2006 05:27

After I have installed the newest version of VideoLAN for win98 and I got this errormessage when I try to start VideoLAN:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

The page says that you have to download http://www.microsoft.com.nsatc.net/glob ... ounce.mspx
The two MSLU files need to be put in the C:\Windows\System\ folder.

fix for unicows

alternatively if you have openoffice.org or java jre 1.5.x then you can copy the unicows.dll file from there and put it in the same folder as the vlc executable. You only need the one file.
