Audio-only UDP stream possible?

Postby NoAffinity » 31 May 2006 01:47

Using VLC 0.8.5 (official release), attempting to stream audio only via UDP. I have attempted both Open File (using .mp3, .wav and .cda files) and Open Disc (using an audio CD). I have tried with no transcoding, and various transcoding configurations (being aware that TS is mp2v and mpga), in hopes that VLC would generate null packets for the video (if nothing else). The progress bar moves, but in looking at the stream information, it's all zeroes, and no program that I'm using (VLC, along with a couple others) receives any stream.

If any other information is needed, please let me know. Any thoughts?
