VLC's UDP port number 1234

Postby magistral » 19 May 2006 13:36

Does anyone know if is possible to change the UDP port number that VLC uses for streaming. I've changed the port numbers in the RTP stream configuration screen but it still streams on the default port number of 1234. Is there another place to set this - I can't find one !

You can launch vlc in command line (under windows) and set the right switch...

The default port can be configured in the streaming output general preferences.
