video wall - how to hide title bar and windows task bar

Postby urungus » 19 Aug 2022 20:44

When I create video wall the video source gets divided into multiple windows. I drag each window to the appropriate monitor and maximize each window to fill its monitor. Looks great - except video file title bar and windows taskbar are still visible on each monitor. How do I hide them ?
When I try unchecking the "window decorations" setting, the windows making up the wall are all pinned to the top left corner of a single monitor, and I can't figure out how to move each window to the correct monitor and then maximize them.

Hi - I have the exact same problem.
I want to display two videos in sync on different screens and VLC almost does exactly what I want.
I can combine the two videos into one double width video and use Geometry/Wall to split that into two windows.
I can then drag those into the two screen and go full screen and it works... except I have an annoying "VLC Direct X Output" title bar at the top of the window.

Or I can switch off Window Decorations and then I get the image filling the screen beautifully with no title bar. Except that both images are full screen on the same monitor.
And I can't find a way to move one of them to the other screen.

Clearly the Wall filter is designed to do just what I want to do - but if the title bar is always visible that hugely limits its use.
There must be some way to get multiple screens full-screen without a title.

Any help appreciated.
