Auto detect of external audio file is not working

Postby Geza » 13 Jul 2024 17:01

I just found out that VLC is capable of auto detecting external audio file when you click on an mp4 file, the problem is, that in my case it doesn't detect it. How can I troubleshoot this problem?

Should it be able to detect audio files with m4a extension?

(Windows 7 sp1)

You already posted about that here:

Ands since a bug report ticket already exists there is nothing much you can do.

Thank you for the clarification, I was assuming that that was just one incident post that was never resolved.
