Audio - mp3 profile missing

Postby deadriff » 20 Jun 2024 16:53

I'm trying to convert a wav file to mp3. I was able to do it fine a few weeks ago, but today it's not working. The program keeps outputting another wav file. The "audio - mp3" profile seems to be missing from the available options list, only Audio - Vorbis, Audio - FLAC, and Audio - CD. I've gone into the edit the selected profile to make sure mp3 is selected, but when selecting an output destination, it's naming the file as [file name].wav and outputting as such. I double checked that the program was up to date and even did an uninstall-reinstall and still having the issue. Any advice?

You may have deleted it by mistake. Reset the preferences and cache (the manual way) and it will restore the default profiles:
