Trouble replacing audio file

Postby eagle670 » 14 May 2024 17:35

I am new to this forum and have searched for an answer but cannot find any. I am trying to replace the audio on one of my videos and the conversion does not work. I have followed the videos on youtube and tried everything that I can think of and the new audio will not replace the old. Can someone help me out here. I'm at a loss

Fortunately, and obviously, you can't replace your source file, you must create another new file first.

Can I remove the source file through VLC? According to the youtube videos, you should be able to replace the source file with another audio file. Please give some direction if you don't mind. Thanks

You can not replace the source file while converting it. You need to convert the file then to manually replace it. VLC has no feature for deleting a file.
