VLC Render 2 subtitle

Postby Tortugo » 25 Apr 2024 23:21

Hello, I wanted to render a film with subtitles in French, it works there are indeed subtitles in French that I personalized, but there are also ugly subtitles in English, for no reason that settled in without me wanting them to.

And I would like to know how to remove this, Thanks! :)

AFAIK VLC can't display two different subtitles at the same time, so that means one of these subtitles is hardcoded into the video image so there is nothing you can do.
Check the Subtitle menu -> Sub Track for disabling one of them.

Oh Thanks, but yet when I watch the film without converting there are no of any subtitles, so it is not hardcore in the video :(
I think the problem is in the convert menu, when I want to convert my file to mp4 and hardcore my French subtitles, the English subtitles are reactivated. How could I deactivate them during the conversion in the convert menu ?

Note that VLC 4 actually can display two different subtitle tracks at the same time. ;)

Do you have a sample file we can check? Can you send it via PM?
