Volume change by mouse wheel

Postby Gruko » 15 Feb 2024 13:29

In windowed mode, the volume change by mouse wheel affect the video track too, resulting in video forwarding (or RV).
No problem in fullscreen mode.

My mouse wheel settings:

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reply. Please, play this video, captured by windows game bar: https://filedoge.com/download/a531275de ... d7cebf0741

The mouse cursor is located on the volume area and the mouse wheel changes both the volume and slider position.

It occurs in windowed mode only, no problem in fullscreen mode.
Can you report this bug?

I can't reproduce the issue.

Reset the preferences (the manual way) and try again:

I tried to manual reset the preferences, with no results.
Default VLC settings are different from my settings, please enlarge the picture on my first message.

I found last VLC version without the bug is 2.2.8, and 3.x.x VLC versions are all affected by this issue.

I hope someone can report the issue to https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/ because I can't register for new accounts.
