Stuck on first Image after latest download.

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I was prompt to do the latest download and hesitated for about 2 months because I didn't want any problems. Decided to go ahead and now my video files would not play properly. It is stuck on the first image. I tried several suggestions that I found on youtube which did not work. I uninstalled VLC/videolan from my PC and downloaded it again but with no success. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause issues like this after a system update. Also, it might be worth checking if your PC's system requirements still match the needs of the updated VLC version
