I load this HDCD open VLC player > Open Disc> click Audio CD> click play and get message
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'cdda:///D:/'. Check the log for details.
Nor does EAC ripper recognize it. Disc surface looks immaculate.

HDCD is not a standard Audio CD and I think VLC doesn't support this format:
