Problems with the update window

This has been happening to me for many versions, it is not very serious but I see that it continues to happen, so I explain it here.

When you encounter a new update it may happen that the window showing the download and installation confirmation is behind the VLC window itself and if the playback is on "always on top" it turns out that the main window is blocked because it is waiting for you to install or cancel and that window is not visible because it is behind the main one, a deadlock occurs that does not allow it to continue and it must be forced to close from the task manager.

Am I doing it wrong or is there some trick?
