Integration with windows menù

Postby Multisound » 23 Oct 2023 17:18

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to make my question, however I would like to know if there is a way to delete or modify the VLC voices from the windows context menù (right click to a file in explorer window).
Thank you very much for your help.

As I understand it, you want to edit and remux a file. AFAIK this is not possible from the Windows context menu.

Sorry, you didn't understand. I'm talking about the VideoLAN voices that appear into the right context menù of window (10), when you click with the right button of the mouse over a file. There are 2 voices about VideoLAN: "Add to VLC playlist" (*) and "View (or play?) with VLC player" (*).

(*) i don't know the exact voices because i installed the italian version.

So, i would like delete these voices from that menù! Many apps have the option to integrate or not integrate the windows context menù with the app's voices, but in VLC i didn't find it!

I can't attach an image of that menù, otherwise it would be very clear my need.

Anyway I hope you understand now.

Thanks.

Re-install VLC and uncheck the option related to context menu.

Re-install VLC and uncheck the option related to context menu.
Ah OK!
The software was pre-installed, so for this reason I couldn't uncheck the option (and hoped there was it into the settings).

Thank you very much, i'll do it!
