Convert You Tube mp4 to MPs - weird error prompt

Postby eager » 28 Sep 2023 22:33

I keep getting this weird error message lately.

The output fiel already exists If recording continues, the file will be overridden and its contents will be lost. Overwrite? Keep existing File?

This occurs when I have no mp3 of this mp4 and even if I try to name it something completely different.

Do I need to download some file? Uninstall VLC Media Player (version3.0.11 Vetinari) and re-install?

Thank you.

Well, use an output folder which is not the same as the folder of the input file.
BTW why using an old VLC version like 3.0.11 ? Update to the latest one ;-)

That did not fix it.

I uninstalled the old version and installed the new VLC and saved output to another folder

On another laptop I can do this with no problem.

Somethings amiss on this Dell laptop running W10 suddenly.

Could do this easily for years on this laptop.

Thanks.
