The VLC Method of playing Video with different Audio together is not working?

Tried this, but the last step from: https://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_HowTo/Play_an_external_audio_track_for_a_video/
does not show up: Go to Audio -> Audio track -> Track 2. (If you have more than one track available, pick the one that corresponds to the desired audio overlay.)

Whats missing?

Is this for all or only experiencing this for me/ these files?

Hi

I have a similar problem.
My video is m2v withoud any audio track.
I have a audio track for that video in separate file.

Audio is not playing even that I have added that like instucted. Same audio file works with some other type of video files.

All files must have the same time base, otherwise VLC can't synchronise the tracks.
