Subtitle font gets scaled by video size, instead of window size

Postby guyinamask » 09 Apr 2023 12:20

Depending on the aspect ratio of the video file, the subtitle gets smaller or narrower (or both).

When the file has 16:9 ratio, the subtitle is shown in its "default" size. Any other aspect ratio makes the subtitle font size changed.

Here are the examples:

The examples are with .srt subtitles, but the same thing happens with .ass subtitle as well.

What can be done in settings so that the subtitle font size is always shown in "default"/ "full", regardless of aspect ratio?
