VLC skinned player Window will not resize

I have a big problem with trying to resize VLC windows that are custom skinned. Usually they can only be resized from the bottom right hand corner. If the player is accidentally resized too large or out of frame of the computer video monitor, the resizing corner cannot be reached. I tried cascading windows to get to the resizing corner, but that is always unavailable. Why is the only way to resize the VLC player window from the bottom right hand corner? Why are the other corners NOT available for resizing of the VLC player window. That's silly. HELP!
