Sound suddenly works part of the time
Never had any real issues with VLC until recently. Lately when I click on a movie file the audio only turns on about 1/4 of the time. I have to restart the video and vlc over and over before the audio kicks in. Any ideas?

Can you provide verbose logs to help diagnose the issue ? Which version of VLC are you running?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.
