VLC 3.0.17.4 no longers playes YT livestreams

Just Started to happen a hour or so ago. I have confirmed this behaviour on another Window computer.

I can confirm. Happening to me too. Had no problems with it yesterday.

I guess it's just another step from Youtube for blocking third party programs:

Issue fixed

-Updated to lastest verison of VLC

-Downloaded https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/ ... line=false

- Renamed file to " youtube.luac "

- dropped file in C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\playlist , making sure to move/replace the existing file

- restart VLC

Hi i followed the steps, i'v tried on a portable installation, and it seems working , but when i play i have the only first vid not the whole playlist

same here. maybe its normal? and did your previous lua version show all vids in playlist?

I can confirm this works now (for the most part - one video didn't work?). Make sure you move old unused/backup luac files out of the playlist directory, don't just leave them in there.
