Command line save stream with only 1 language

Postby vlc_cli_newbie » 06 Nov 2022 14:56

Hello there,

I tried to save a stream from a DVD, but it always saves the file with all languages available. How can I save the stream with only 1 language, or if not possible, set the default language to a different one?

I tried the following:
"C:/Program Files/VLC/vlc.exe" dvd:///F:/#3 --sout="#transcode{alang=de}:std{access=file,mux=ps,dst=video.mpg}"

Any ideas?

Thanks.

--no-sout-all --audio-track=0 --audio-track-id=-1
Problem similar to subtitles https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 33#p532547
