VLC Windows Wifi6 -> Chromecast doesn't work

Since I updated my router, I eventually changed my Windows 11 network connection to use 802.11ax (wifi6).

Everything else seems to be working fine, but VLC (3.0.17) will no longer cast to my chromecast(2k). Youtube from Ms/Edge browser still works fine, as well as Android vlc on my tablet/phone connected to wifi6.

Video codec doesn't seem to matter, nothing works anymore.

Switch back to wifi 5 (802.11ac) on Win11 then no issues with VLC and chromecast.

Note: The chromecast is configured to wifi 5 and hasn't changed config in over a year.
