Problems With Network Stream Windows 11

Ok, I opened the network stream in my VLC player, pasted the URL into it, hit play and nothing happened. No video appeared. How can I fix this?

To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:

1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
2. Set Verbosity to 2
3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [​code]and[​/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)

Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.

Same issue with me.
Followed the instructions and got this error:

lua error: Couldn't extract youtube video URL, please check for updates to this script
main info: playlist is empty

Reinstalling it does not resolve the issue either.
I've seen a bunch of sites mentioning this issue so I doubt it's an isolated issue. I'm on Windows 11.

I've been having the same problem. It just terminates the program, and removes Youtube links from the playlist. It still works with Soundcloud for me.
Since it went over character limit, I've put it through imgur. Here's my debug:
