command line option for setting playlist view mode on startup

Postby smarty123 » 31 Jul 2022 12:25

Hi,

i can set the playlist view mode on right mouse key, but did not find a command line parameter to run a different view on startup:

Normal view is detailed list view for me (that will start runnning a playlist without parameters)

I would rather need a command line parameter like:

--playlist-view:thumbs to change list view mode then parameter set (thumbnails) and use default (detailed list) when not used

--playlist-view:thumbs|shuffle|list|detailedlist
^^ this would be the possible options regarding the context menu

Are there any plans to realisze that in Version 3.0.8 ff. ??

Version 3.0.8 is over two years old already. Suggest you update to the latest version which is 3.0.17.4 first: https://www.videolan.org/
