Extract Copyright Protected VCD

Postby Pallas_L » 09 Mar 2022 18:35

Hi,
May I know how can I make VLC Media Player extract a copyright protected VCD? I tried using VLC and it extracted only half of the video.

Waiting for your reply asap, thank you.

Cool Regards,
Pallas

Wow VCD! What have you done to extract the video ?
Maybe you can try to copy the AVSEQnn.DAT file from the MPEGAV folder and change its extension to .MPG .

Hi Lotesdelere,

i already tried to copy the data file to my C drive but an error "Invalid MS-DOS" occurred. What should I do?

Hope to receive your reply asap, thanks.

Hi Lotesdelere,

My issue was resolved. My VCD is damaged so I installed a free software called Recovery Toolbox for CD Free and it fixed my VCD and I am now able to copy and paste my VCD's data to my C drive.

Thanks for all your advice, appreciate them.

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Cool Regards,
Pallas
