Cannot cast to Chromecast with Google TV

This is just for a x264 1080p short video
I Do 'Playback > Renderer > select 'Chromecast''. The chromecast device seems to start loading, but it stays like this permanently.
Did I miss any setting?

Officially not supported by Google anymore: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7022492

That doesn't mean to say it won't work, but it doesn't help.

Try resetting preferences and then check whether it makes any difference or not: https://wiki.videolan.org/VSG:ResetPrefs

Oh.. tx. But my CCWGT is already setup.
The problem I have is just streaming to it.

According to the last post in this long running thread on the subject Windows Defender is blocking the signal: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 7&start=50

Otherwise try some of the other suggestions in the same thread where a few users were able to get it working (works for some, but not others).
