Album Art hidden files

Postby etienne53 » 14 Dec 2020 22:13

Much of my music has incorrect album art, obviously downloaded automatically (VLC 3.0.8). I can't find these files on my computer even though I have the "hidden folders" option checked.

Today I copied my music to a SanDisk MP3 player (I know, I know -- antique technology!). It lists numerous JPG files which are somehow associated with the music being player.

Yet when I plug the MP3 player into my computer, again, the JPG files don't show.

Now, this is hardly an end-of-the-world issue as it doesn't affect how the music plays, but it would be nice to be able to see all the files and to delete those that are incorrect.

Any suggestions?

Delete this whole folder: %APPDATA%\vlc\art

Return to “VLC media player for Windows Troubleshooting”
