I'm using VLC 3.0.11
I can customise the Toolbar by adding buttons and that works fine.
Except for the 'Trickplay Reverse' button. I add it to the Toolbar Line 2 and it appears in the preview, but when I click Close in the Customise screen, the button does not appear in the VLC interface.
When I go back into the Customise screen, the button is there on Line 2.
Any ideas?

I couldn't get that button to work either, but you can try using the method described in this tutorial instead.
