Vlc stops playing m3u8 after a few minutes

On many m3u8 network streams, when I want to watch and convert them, the video stops after a few minutes. I get a

Code: Select all

Failed to create demuxer 0000000000000000 Unknown

error and a

Code: Select all

SetThumbNailClip failed: 0x800706f4

error message. Sometimes I don't get any error message but the video stops. And if the stream is loading the video stops and never resumes. How can I get the video to resume when the stream is working again?

Which VLC version are you using ?
If v3.0.10 then check this:

I downgraded to 3.0.8 but it still have that problem. It doesen't make files longer than a few minutes, sometimes even without any error.
