Just purchased and ran Spyhunter 5 Malware detector, and low-and-behold, VLC 3.0.8 was reported as having troubles,
VLC aware but unable to duplicate problem, so I dumped it. Any of you having same "experience>?

you can always check Files online if the are dangerous.
-> https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload
For Example put the "vlc.exe" File from your Computer as drag and drop from your "Windows File Explorer" in the Virustotal Web Site.
The Result listed more than 30 Safety-Tools for the File.
I found no dangerous Results for the VLC-Version 3.0.8 (64-Bit).
