Latest VLC, tearing on fast motion

Postby vorob » 10 Dec 2019 15:58

Hello!

I've got a laptop with 2080MAXQ (Not Optimus) and G-Sync panel. I'm getting tears in some videos. Similar to v-sync off in videogames. Where should I dig? Tried Automatic output, DirectX11 and OpenGL for Windows. All the same.

MPC HC plays these videos perfectly. Same for default Windows 10 video player.

Thx!

This will fix your screen tearing, but then you will lose the ability to have Subtitles, and the screen will turn green when the next video in your playlist comes up. ( At least this happens to me )

For now, at least the viewing experience through the video length is fixed.. :c
Screw the Christmas Cone haters. :f Image
